Rattan is a vine native to Indonesia that has been used to make baskets for hundreds of years. These baskets are handwoven by artisans in the Cirebon region of Indonesia with whom Fair Go Trading has a Fair Trade partnership. You can learn more about the makers and the kubu process here.
