These lovely house shoes are skillfully handmade with high quality wool, so they will keep your feet toasty and warm throughout the winter months, while remaining breathable. Each pair supports women from low-income families in Azerbaijan, and features traditional patterns used in Azerbaijani carpets.

GK Collective

GK Collective is a social enterprise that provides women in rural areas of Azerbaijan with meaningful work that preserves traditional cultural knitting practices. Currently there are 10 women working with GK Collective who come from low-income families. The women make slippers and socks that feature traditional patterns used in Azerbaijan carpets. The ornamental patterns used differ throughout the regions, which include Karabakh, Gabala, Lerik, Shirvan, Shamakhi, Guba and Baku.

All of our products are packaged and shipped to you from our store in Melbourne, Victoria by one of our small team, using FSC certified paper bags and recycled paper pulp. When your beautiful products don't fit in one of our parcel bags, we try and reuse boxes that have been sent to us.

We can gift wrap products in your order at no extra cost. This can be added at checkout along with a short note to the person receiving the gift.
