Fairtrade

Conscious Step socks use Fairtrade certified cotton, which protects farmers by enforcing a fair, minimum price paid for their product. In addition to receiving Fairtrade wages, producer organisations receive a Fairtrade Premium which is spent on community programs such as investing in their farms or increasing access to education or healthcare. The farmers get to vote on how to spend the money to best benefit their community.
